Vanaf 8 december 2014 t/m 4 januari 2015 zal PB50REM extra geactiveerd worden van uit de historische regio

50 jaar na de bouw van het REM-eiland wordt PB50REM geactiveerd in de Houthavens van Amsterdam. Het in 1964 voor omroepdoeleinden geactiveerde platform, voor Noordwijk in de Noordzee (JO22dg),  werd later ontdaan van haar mast om te gaan fungeren als meet-post voor Rijkswaterstaat.

In 2006 werden deze activiteiten beëindigd en werd voor maar één dag PB6REM geactiveerd.

In 2011 werd het verbouwde REM-eiland, als restaurant, in de Houthavens geplaatst.

2 leden van de PB6REM-crew en enkele amateurs activeerden op vrijdag 26 september dit platform PB50REM  op HF en 2 meter. WW-locator JO22KJ. QSL-manager is PA7DA. Graag QSL via het Dutch QSL-Bureau.

PB50REM

50 years after the construction of the North Sea Platform; “REM-eiland”, PB50REM will be activated in the “Houthavens” Amsterdam. In 1964 for broadcast purposes activated platform, near Noordwijk JO22dg in the North Sea, was later stripped of her mast to function as measuring post for “Rijkswaterstaat” the water-department of the Ministry of Public Works.

In 2006, these activities were terminated and only one day PB6REM was activated.

In 2011 the platform was  renovated and placed in the “Houthavens” in Amsterdam as a restaurant.

Two members of the PB6REM-crew and friends did activate on Friday September 26th this platform, with the callsign PB50REM, on HF and 2 meters. WW-locator JO22KJ. QSL manager is PA7DA. Please QSL via the Dutch QSL Bureau.

Beginning December 8th 2014 ending January 4th 2015 There will be a extra activation from the historical region of the platform
